Installing V12S Front Grill on V8

It appears the brackets on the V12S carbon grill are different than the original mesh grill. The two bottom brackets line up to the front bumper attachment points but appear to be elevated by half an inch and the original bolt is too short. Also the two brackets on the side don't have attachment points. Help?

Yeah, there's a difference in the tabs, so you'll need spacers.

Thanks! Any idea what spacers to get? The bolts shown in the picture are short, it seems they won't have many threads left going through the grill. Also, do you know how to attach the other two top brackets to the car?

There are spacers and brackets that are used. There are Aston part numbers.

Not sure of them though. Check with Aston Martin Bits, or call your dealer. Either one can supply the parts.

This was my first solution until I got the correct parts from Aston Martin.

When I bought mine (the non CF version) I also received a bag of the correct bolts and spacers as part of the package.

Don't sweat the original stuff. Take the original bolts to Home Depot or a good hardware store. Match the threads but get them a 1/2inch longer. While you are there get some stainless steel washers to use as spacers.

It's not OEM. VCollection makes it.

Did anyone have any issues with the grille lining up with the top latch post? Even without the spacers, it's not lining up correctly. Only thing that I can think of doing is drilling the hole slightly larger.

I believe I made the hole slightly wider and used a fender washer to bolt it on
