Question Loose connector near blower in passenger footwell

Hi All,

Wondering if anybody knows what this connector is for in my 2013 V8 Vantage SSII? Not sure if it should be connected as I cannot see any male plug in for it to fit with. Thanks for any info.

Check your TPMS module, it's mounted to the bottom side of the glove box. Might not be plugged in

It looks like the connector to the smartire tpms, but 2012 cars do not have this any more they got the new system. Just tug it away securly.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies, TPMS is working so I don't think that is it.

If the colour of the cables is red, white, black and blue/red it is a leftover from the smartire (old) tpms and you can ignore it.

I have the same dangling connector in my 2013. I presumed it went to something that was no longer installed. TPMS makes sense.

That must be it, thanks to all that replied. The reason I found it was because it was rattling around down there and I wondered what it was. I will zip tie it up to something so it doesn't move around. Thanks again.

Hey you know what? I think it's from the old TPMS system.

I felt left out.
