Aston Martin of Walnut Creek

Just received a letter from Aston Martin North America that Walnut Creek stopped carry Aston Martin and prompted us to go Los Gatos.
It also mentioned that they are looking to appoint another dealership in the area.

Ditto. Aston is removed from their website now.

That's the second Bay-Area dealer to lose Aston Martin in the last 5 years. However, it's encouraging that they are looking to appoint another dealership here.

It gets worse. Los Gatos is a long way from Santa Rosa. Thank goodness for TRG.

Ouch. Too bad. That location was pretty convenient for me. Oh well.

It’s always about the money.
Aston Martin, dealers, like most other small independent auto manufactures, have problems with profitability.
You have expensive equipment and technicians that primarily only work on Aston Martins. However there is just not enough volume to justify the overhead. This is partly mitigated my combining Aston Martin repair facilities with other brands.
The two closes dealers to me (St Petersburg and Orlando Florida)
The St Petersburg facility also carries Lamborghini and Ferrari I believe, while the facility in Orlando is combined with a Jaguar dealership.
Even with combining dealerships, sometimes the profitability is not there

Denver V8V is infamous around these parts
For what it's worth, I purchased my '09 V8V from Los Gatos and I'm extremely pleased with them. Even though I live in Denver, when I call for advice or questions, they are very responsive.
