I have 2 1/2 years left on factory warranty - will probably extend it as long as possible, so pretty much any mods have to be AM or AMR to keep warranty up! Anyway I got this car at a really good price, so the investment would not be too bad overall.
I looked into it and lost interest. The main reason was not the price (which is typically exorbitant and way more than doing the same thing via the aftermarket) but the looks:
1. The rear diffuser is not sufficiently different or more special than the 'standard' version. In fact, I think it looks worse, making the back of the car look more dumpy. A GT12 style diffuser might have been nice.
2. But the real nail in the coffin is the intake manifold. Call me shallow, but part of the reason I own an Aston is that it is a work of art, and that certainly includes the engine bay. The power kit manifold is a crude-looking lump that lacks the 'standard' unit's nicely sculpted runners (the power kit unit looks more like a row of flattened, soft turds) and it is black, so it looks like the rest of the engine bay instead of contrasting beautifully like the 'standard' unit.

You already can't keep traction when you mash your right foot, so what are you after?
We can get you twice the power for less than half the money

Stewart - the problem with third party exhaust is the warranty is not honored. For example, I just got this V12S a few weeks ago with 8,500 miles... so far the console control panel needs replaced because of a defective toggle button, the interior door handle needs adjustment, the tail light needs replacement, and the leather panels needs replaced on the dash because of shrinkage - all under warranty - in just the first two weeks of ownership. The warranty I have will last about 2 1/2 years, then I'll renew for at least another two. Morries AM made it quite clear - any third party exhaust voids warranty. Suggestions?
Enjoy the car, which is wonderful as is. I mean, it has 565 hp. Any extra power or noise is superfluous. (Not that there's anything wrong with that...)
