Passenger window stopped working

So after Dimmitt's or Dimwits as I like to call them looked at my radio issue, I noticed that my passenger window stopped working ( I replaced the regulator last spring), so I want to check the obvious, but I do not see on the cabin fuse chart a fuse for the passenger window, so is it tied into another electrical part and under that name or is it in the trunk or engine fuse box?

On my MY10 Vantage, from memory, the windows were fuse 83 & 84 in the passenger footwell. Interestingly the fuse was fine but removing it and reinstalling solved the issue, so maybe it reset the module.

You probably have the older spain modules in your car, they go to sleep with low voltage and have issues waking up when the CEM informs system is active(which possibly went low with the radio issue during tests). A hard battery rest or the fuse pulling does often work to wake the module, but these modules have also been known to return with the same fault even after a reset OR with battery power being good/great and never low...that's when you'll most likely require new door modules as a pair which are retrofitted from a newer model. (will also require a new software to be build by AM and flashed into your car). Not stating this is the issue, but a heads up..

Hard reset did the trick.

Thanks all!

hi. Old forum but thought I would add my recent experience. About a year I had a set of new door modules fitted with the new software update. All working fine until a week ago. Passenger window when opening the door will work randomly. With either the correct drop ten mil. And could do this ten times in a row. Then out of the blue drop all the way. And do this for a random number of times. No problem with closing it. I’ve tried the soft reset, but I don’t think this option works anymore with the new modules. No fault codes come up. Most odd. I won’t be impressed if the new modules are faulty already. Would be warranty issue but still poor non the less. Is it worth the fuse pull I ask. Does anyone know if this would upset the new software and make it worse. Any feedback would be great.

Hey, at least Dimmit calls you back. I can't get them to respond to calls or emails so I've been going to Orlando. I'm across the bay from you. I have had the same issue when I replaced the battery, and the fuse pull trick worked for me.

Hi all,

I had the exact same issue in my '07 Vantage V8, the passenger window was stuttering going up and down + wouldn't drop or go up correctly when the door opened or closed. I tried the soft reset, pulling the fuse, charging the battery - nothing worked.

I replaced the window regulator and it solved the issue. A little bit of a fiddly job, but not too difficult!

Hope this helps someone else suffering the same issue!

Thanks
