Velocity AP ECU flashing tool
I vote for 1 so that I can go the same route soon. Sorry to ask you to be the guinea pig.
I expected the car with 200 cell will still pass the obd test. It probably will fail the visual but I havent seen anyone crawl under the car to look that close at cats.

Does the flash tool work as a scan tool, or read status of OBD monitors? Run by a local smog shop or garage and ask if they can check for monitor readiness, might wave a $20 to get it done. If it's not stupid loud they won't look at the cats.
Out of curiousity - a question to the ones who looked into the stock programming of the V8 Vantage fuel injection.
Today, coasting down a long stretch of declining road, foot of the accelerator, I looked at the momentary fuel consumption display.
To my amazement I saw a displayed fuel consumption of ~6.5 liters/100km.
Does the 2007 V8V NOT have a overrun fuel cutoff?
I mean that's standard to all the old Bosch fuel injections (L-jetronic etc) from the 80s I ever worked with.
Can anyone explain why? Reducing the deceleration from the engine, maybe?
And, should I condider the APVelocity tune- can that be changed?
