VelocityAP GT4 Supersport Exhaust installed

It was so hard to find some sort of review online when trying to figure out my exhaust setup of all the various options for our AM. Most videos seem to be de-catted or some sort of full exhaust offering

Posting this to serve as a reference point for anyone interested in going down the GT4 offering by VelocityAP. It is pretty much a muffler delete

The install is very DIY friendly, did this on a set of ramps in my garage. All in total time took me about 5 hrs - most of that was trying to remove the OEM muffler as some bolts had rusted and trying to finagle my socket wrenches under the car in awkward positions on my back sans a lift

The video does not do the sound any justice, this thing is loud. There is some cabin drone but I think the good kind, not annoying at all especially when you have a B&O system to drown that noise out

Will get a cold start video and some flybys up soon

Enjoy!

rolltide0323 is infamous around these parts
Thanks for the vid. I got my gt4 exhaust last week but haven't installed it yet. Can't wait to get it installed. That thing sounds mean. How much drone would you say it has? Lower rpms or higher rpms? Thanks.

I am used to louder cars since almost vehicle I have ever owned, I have upgraded the exhaust

I would say between 3-4k rpms it s very noticeable, lower range below 3k, not as much

It is a constant noise, you definitely lose the quietness of the interior cabin which is what I wanted. I felt the oem exhaust with fuse 22 pulled was too quiet for my liking. But man, lets just say you will need to change your pants the first time you open up the car on an onramp!

That... sounds right. Another video inside the cabin during driving would be much appreciated.

This is the best thing ever... I first found the above video on YouTube and have now convinced myself of getting the exhaust- only to see the post above, who is 8 months in the past me, wanting more information.

Current me is now the owner of Centenary #23 and I'm pretty sure "Tantum" needs the super sport exhaust.

Unfortunately I no longer own that car and thus, that exhaust. The inside does have quite a bit of drone, but something I didn't have an issue with. It is a muffler delete, so it did drastically alter the sound from an "Aston" sound

My current V8VS is equipped with the Factory Sport exhaust (not sure if the centenary's do or not, prob do) and absolutely love the raspier, more exotic sound. I will be going decats on this car vs altering the muffler sound, as I love the higher pitch a bit more. The gt4 exhaust does not keep the pure Aston sound, it sounds much more muscle car'ish plus loud. Mainaining the factory sport exhaust sound, but amplifying that pitch louder with decats while adding some power to boot, is my new preferred route. The gt4 supersports does not increase any power at all

I've gotten VelocityAP to custom map my fuel burnoff in the exhaust to add some crackles and pops as well, which I am quite happy with. Once the pipes are installed I'll upload another video
