V8VS Rotor Thickness Specs
Hi All, I was hoping someone could direct me to where I can find the specifications for serviceable rotor thickness for a 2012 V8 Vantage S front & rear Rotors. I can find diameter etc but not minimum thickness? At my last service 10 months they predicted I would need new Rotors and Pads all round. While I have no reason to doubt the advice I would like to be able to check for myself just to be sure. In a previous set of posts I mentioned I planned aftermarket replacements on both rotors and pads and got some good feedback.
On a side note I have had the car for just on a year and the more I drive it the more I like it. It has lived up to all expectations. I have recently been on a long drive to the Great Ocean Road in Victoria in Aust and onto the Barossa wine districts, a 5000k round trip over 10 days and it was great.

i'm pretty sure fronts are 32mm original & 30mm min , rear are 28mm original & 26mm min
thats for my 07 4.3L - think it applies up to 2012
yours may differ but I doubt it

Hi Graze, I appreciate the reply. My car is a V8 Vantage S and has 15" front rotors and 13" rears. I believe the rears are the same as the std Vantage so the 28mm and 26mm min is probably correct but I am not sure about the fronts? As best as I can work out the fronts are 34mm so maybe the same -2mm applies???
