VelocityAP Airbox Delete Kit for V8 Vantage, V12 Vantage, DB9, DBS, Vanquish, Rapide
The Redpants design, from what I see in pics uses the original air filter(or OEM replacement) and requires the inlet tube from your air box. I'm just not sure how redpants keeps the filter attached to the redpants designed mount? Mainly because the stock air filter in the original airbox is sandwiched in place (top and bottom) to prevent the filter from falling off. This would really need to be explained by Rich on how the filter is secured...
Our VAP kit deletes the intake boxes completely and stock filters altogether. To guarantee the air filter won't fall off, we include a set of high flowing filters that are clamped on with a worm gear.

@Kanga
I'd say that would be a good call to swap on a cone filter for the redpants bracket.
The VAP kit is a different mounting, the filter will sit higher up away from the lower part of fender liner, which also increases induction wading depth. I generally see a large amount of airboxes cracked open from lack of ground clearance, so I wanted to keep the filter up high as possible and avoid any chance of impact.

Are there any stats on the quantifiable power gain? I'm just wondering if this upgrade is worth the investment. I'm not too worried about the increased induction noise as I enjoy the sound coming out the back of my car quite a bit
Your not cutting or modifying any parts, would be like adding an aftermarket loud exhaust muffler. Unbolt the entire airbox and bolt in our kit to secure the MAF tubes. The part which helps control the AFR is the MAF tubes, neither of them are being messed with, making the kit also 100% reversible.

I'd say 5-10hp is about right, could be more though...
Regardless, you should have an improved response and the more power that's created will net a fuel savings due to engine not working as hard to draw in air. I mean it's not we pay much for fuel in Canada anyways, so who cares about that part..

If oiled, would most likely be a lifetime warranty style, so would be reusable/washable at 16-20k range. Also throwing idea around of selling just bracket if client prefer that option. We could do oilless but there's not as many options which would bump the price being fewer selection available.

Okay looks like this is a go. Just finalizing a filter option with our supplier. We used an off the shelf that's not *quite* right for this one so will be making one specifically for this application.
