Whistle like noise when releasing brake paddle
good morning friends
greeting f I’m Florida.
My 2009 DB9 has started making this whilsting noise. It occurs after car is driven few miles, I stop at traffic light and then let go the foot off the brake paddle. I have recorded it and will post the video but it’s basically audio.
my reading so far suggest that it may be bad brake maste cylinder , booster, mainly booster. I already check brake fluid , level is good, don’t see a leak.
if I have to replace the part , I am sure Aston martin did not make it, it may be a Ford part but I was not able locate it on line. Any one have found brake booster from alternative source than paying Aston price?

To me, it sounds like the brake booster or a vacuum hose feeding it. But, I have zero direct experience in this on Astons.
Do you notice any difference in braking power? If you had a bad booster, you'd definitely feel a reduction in braking power. So it may possibly just be a quick hose.
