Thanks! No clips I have taken from the outside. Only clips are from the BlackVue inside the car.

only clip I know of taken of the car from the outside is this one. Start at 6:30 in.

Given the sum of the (bolt on) parts I have put in is worth more than the car would be sans parts, it is to me! That said I have seen the Texas mile cars and do know where you are going, but this is an Aston. Not a GTR, or a Mustang, or an UGR Huracan for which "heavily" means something entirely different.

Balancing keeping the timeless looks while improving upon almost every component (OEM+) to make it what it should have been from the factory performance wise has been my goal. Purchashing essentially every upgradable OEM+ component available has been the long (and fun) build process!

Went one inch larger (20) vs stock. I feel 20" fills out the fender the best, and with an aggressive offset it pushes out the fender to really accentuate the curves of the car. Especially in the original, pure design before they messed with the sills.

That said I have also kept the stock sport pack 5 spoke wheels for the track (never happens)

Ghosty is infamous around these parts
Detomaso, she sounds badass! Sorry if I missed it earlier, but what year V8V? What else besides seats netted you the 200# weight reduction? Was the QS exhaust a big weight savings? Ever dyno it before/after the ECU tune? Does your twin-disk clutch chatter very much? Rated for much more torque than the stocker?

Side-note, do you also have (or had) a Pantera? Hahaa.

wheels -27.2 lbs
battery -42 lbs
muffler -27.0 lbs
high-flow cats -8 lbs
headers -8.25 lbs
cargo divider -10 lbs (estimate, only when at the track)
VelocityAP clutch and lightweight flywheel -17.5lbs
Aston Martin N420 rear diffuser -2.5lbs
Air box delete -8lbs
Nitron coilovers -11.6lbs

Current -162.05lbs

Still to do:
2 piece Wilwood rotors -18lbs
Cobra Nogaros -50lbs

Grand total of
230.05lbs

Its a 2006, no dyno for tune alone, Velocity AP custom tuned for half day following all mods. Twin disk does chatter at idle a bit, they bumped idle to 950 to eliminate 95% of it...much more torque, it’s OEM for V12.

I grew up working under my dad’s DeTomaso Pantera GTS with him that he bought new in 1973 (74 model year). Car has just under 30,000 original miles and is one of perhaps 50 true GTS’s in the states. It’s the car that got me into cars and the one thing that will be left for me someday. Took the below pictures when visiting them in TN last year.
