Towing Vantage
#5
oh man, I don’t have the owners book. The tint shop is towing my car on a flat bed to help me avoid driving 1.5 hours to LA, to Harry’s Auto, to get dash fixed. I was just paranoid about the carrier they will be hiring. Don’t know who they are using so not sure if car will scratch or if they will even know how to even get car on the flatbed.

You should have a tow hook tucked under the shelf behind driver seat (roadster). It screws in up front into a passenger side bumper receptacle. Once attached it is used to pull/winch your car carefully on to the flatbed. Except in the most extreme circumstance I would never let anyone hook up my car unless they dealt with exotics on a regular basis.

Anyways, rohnin, you’re probably right. Just spend the 3 hrs in traffic to get to LA from OC and back. Hate the 5 and 10 and LA potholes and traffic lol.
Now you guys got me thinking, when I transported it enclosed shipping from east coast to the west coast, I didn’t even think twice about how they were going to past clearance or how they were going to use the tow hitch, etc.

Vanquish with Flat
After reading this advice about not allowing a flatbed to tow your AM, I am wondering what the best course of action is to deliver my Vanquish to the dealer to repair a passenger rear flat tire? The car is in my garage and appreciate any advice on how best to transport. Thanks for your input.
