Vantage V12s Roadster handling upgrades set up.

Hi I am trying to find out if there are any ways to upgrade the handling of a Vantage V12S Roadster and would appreciate any help. I see talk ref the V8 but its specifically the V12S Roadster.

I would like to increase front end bite and confidence, to be able to pull the front end in during a bend. This is on public roads touring not the race track not driving in winter but in the wet at times. has Pirelli pzero 255/35ZR19 and 295/30 ZR19 tyres.

Any suggestion would be appreciated or point me to a previous posting and what to try first and potential benefits.

I have the light weight 10 spoke wheels Fronts 9.0J x 19 ET68 Rears 11.0J x 19 ET51 tyres Pirelli Pzero 255/35 fronts and rears 295/30 wondering what might be able to go upto in size without changing rims and fit under the wheel arch

Thanks for you consideration and replies in advance.

PS looking at the GT12 it has a stronger front roll bar what affect might this have if changed?

What exactly is the issue you are having? Is it understeer at low speeds? Higher speeds?

The V12 version of the car is certainly a bit more sluggish to turn than the V8 but I'm not sure there is much you can do that would dramatically change this. The car is already quite easy to oversteer and you might expect this to get a bit worse if you tried to give it more front end grip by playing around with antiroll bars.

I am running aftermarket wheels with the same width as OEM but different offsets that bring them out slightly. I can't say that I find understeer a problem on the road or track but I am running PS Cup 2's. I actually went up to 305's on the back to make the car a little less susceptible to power oversteer (but I doubt the difference would be that significant).

I find the car is quite responsive to being steered with the throttle, and I'm not talking about the obvious power oversteer. I try to practice weight transfer techniques every time I drive on the road - it's amazing how much you can quell understeer when cornering by timing both when and how fast/much you come off the throttle.
