QuickSIlver.... DBS or DB9

Good afternoon,

I just purchased a 2014 Aston Martin DB9. I am wanting to get a QuickSIlver SuperSport Exhaust. Anybody have a DBS QuickSilver SS on a DB9? Any suggestions? Is there much of a difference between the 2 exhausts?

thanks in advance.

I would look at a secondary catalyst delete or X-pipe for sound improvement. You still retain the bypass valves and the cost is less. Support a forum vendor.

I would suggest the decat pipes and then add the Velocity AP exhaust (i got the super sport and its not that loud) quiet when you want it to be but makes the pitch higher and saves you about 40 lbs.

You can really enhance that quicksilver by adding an xpipe
I’ll pm you 👍🏼

How about a remote exhaust valve controller to start? That is under $100 and then decide.

I have both the Quicksilver Supersport and a Fabspeed X pipe on my 07 D9. It's for sure not your normal Aston exhaust note !! An Aston Tech said it sounded more like a One77.

We have a few options that you might want to look at as well. Our exhaust options that have a muffler (or the valved one) include an internal xpipe so you can get that V12 sound a lot of people are chasing.

I've tried just about every combination of decat and silencer combination available in the aftermarket.

As some have already mentioned, the single best thing you can do to both improve sound and performance is to get those horrible secondary cats off your car! Sell for scrap.. You'll get enough to buy the VelocityAP silencer you need next.
