Key/Ignition Problem

I’ve owned my 2013 V8V (With Sportshift) for 2 weeks now. At first I thought I just didn’t know what I was doing... But I am pretty sure this is not normal!

I have to push the key in and out 5x before the electrics will catch and unless I push the ECU in as SLOW as possible it won’t fire the engine.

I have tried with the break pedal depressed and it doesn’t work as good as if I don’t touch the break until I hear the engine trying to crank.

Last night I thought I was stranded. Tried the starting procedure 20-30x before it finally worked.

The electrics don’t even start up at all unless I seem to push the key at just the right angle.

The glass key locks/unlocks the car perfectly. But I can’t even start the car with it. Only the Valet key works for ingnition.

Any insight?

Make sure you have foot on the brake, N selected, then two flat finger push to flush position, then red light should illuminate. Then final push to start position and release. If you don't see a red light, either you aren't doing it right, or it could be a bad module.
