DB9 Auto Transmission and Differential Oil Change

Hello,

I would like to do an oil change for the auto transmission and differential for my 2009 DB9. In my manual it says the transmission fluid is Shell M.1375.4 but in past posts I see recommendations for ZF Lifeguard 6. What is the recommendation and how many liters do I need?

Also I saw that some have said the Land Rover LR007474 filter kit is a cost effective option but I also thought I read that there was a bmw filter kit. Does anybody have any idea which transmission filter kit to buy and where?

What differential oil and how many liters do I need to do this job? Thanks!

Hello

here in Europe we have this ZF kit with OEM ZF parts and ZF oil LifeGuardFluid6 (you can buy one liter more)
reference 1068.298.062 for DB9 DBS RAPIDE VIRAGE with 6 gears ZF 6HP26 only
https://www.auto-doc.fr/zf-getriebe/8815874

For the differential 1.8 liters of only AM OEM oil Castrol BOT270A

I bought it direct from redline for my manual transmission.

With the trans, is it a pan/fluid/filter kit like it is with most ZF transmissions?

Is there any difference in the ZF Service Kit between (8700 252 or 1068.298.062)? My DB9 is a 2009, if that makes a difference. Also, do you have a part number for the filter/bolts only as I already have the fluid? Thanks!

Do you have a USA part number? I don't seem to be having any luck finding it in the US. Also, does that part number include screws/gaskets etc?

Finally got a hold of somebody from ZF who confirmed that the US part numbers are:

Oil Sump Pan: 0501.216.243
Bolts: 0736.101.486

This part number includes the pan, gasket, and sealing sleeve. Bolts are on a swap as needed basis. The parts above can be readily found online for significantly lower prices. Hope this helps somebody!
