Aston V8V LED Tail light flicker

My tail light on the drivers side seems to be flickering in the red-brake section. I have the clear Vantage lights. There are two red sections, only one is flickering at a standstill.

Could it be a connection? Just wondering what to check since LED's normally are ON or OFF, but I never saw a loose connection cause flickering.

I had the same problem on the right rear light in my '07, and I was eventually able to isolate the problem to the smart-phone sized computer (a slight exageration, but only a slight one) that lurks inside the tail-light assembly. For some reason, that amount of processing power is required to control the 200 or more LEDs that live inside that assembly. I've been told that that circuit board is prone to cold-solder joints, and that a careful, magnifying glass inspection might reveal the culprit, but such was not the case with mine, which had moisture leaks, and I wound up buying a used pair of rear lights to replace the RR. Magna Canada, who created that mess, are totally unwilling to provide any support for the failures, ditto Aston Martin. I have a lightly used LR assembly in my garage, which I would be glad to send you at a bargoon price if you decide you need one; the assembly pops apart fairly easily (as there is bugger-all sealant at the seam where there should be) and your clear lens would pop right in where the current (red) one is on mine. PM me iff you like. Good luck; I would be happy to send you pix of the dis-assembled RR if you like in the meantime.
