to the OP....it would seem that your delivery/communication problems began with your original vendor and his vendor and not with Stuart/Velocity AP. Perhaps you would like to flame them? Or, better yet, I think all 6speeders believe you owe Stuart and Velocity AP an apology. Where is that “Aussie” sense of fair play?
Thanks Chuck. Don't worry I don't need this deleted and I don't need an apology. I like it when our 'bad' experiences are laid bare because it gives us a chance to show who we are and how we handle things.

FWIW - I reached out to the OP directly, and the order is back on

LOL.... Not sure that is a compliment from your Mum.... But as long as you are happy and keep supplying us with shinny toys then she can call you "special" anytime she wants.

Having seen how this panned out, I would like to add.

I did this to my 2015 Vantage V8S (Manual):

VelocityAP Equal-Length Headers
VelocityAP 200-Cell High-Flow Cats
VelocityAP ECU Tuning - Stage 2
VelocityAP Twin Plate Clutch & Lightweight Flywheel

The car is now a Beast. You will not be disappointed.

However, all did not go as smoothly as planned. First, we scheduled the car for modification while I was away on vacation. You would think two weeks would be enough. However, it was not.

The delays had nothing to do with the Velocity guys, but notwithstanding they were on the phone and in constant contact with my dealership and I to get things sorted. In short, their technical support was top notch.

And if you ordered through Redpants you would (should) have known he was in Japan over the holidays. Plus, speaking of holidays, only a "nut job" relies on timely delivery and service during the holiday season but that's another discussion.

Listen, be patient and trust the process. I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!!

I placed an order with Velocityap and in every email I make sure to thank them for their great customer service, for sure you've had a misfortunate issue in your order being delayed due to certain reasons, however knowing the guys at VAP it must have been out of their hands.

Can only say, they have offered me fantastic service and advice -
My Manifolds were delayed as well ( supply chain issues affects all of us )
I decided to wait for the latest development model, which I an getting installed now!

Saying that they are a disgrace as a header on this forum due to a delivery delay,
Makes you stand out as a Australian "Male Karen"

The holidays are a busy time. I ordered several AM parts and followed up a few days later. Velocity told me that one of the items in my order might not ship till middle of January due to production issues but its actually already on the way so that goes to show that they are doing the best they can. Some of my package arrived yesterday and Im quite pleased with what I have received so far. Fabrication looks great, the clutch kit even comes with the cat gaskets because Velocity knows those have to be removed in order to change the clutch so great attention to detail.
The worst part now is the parts are not installed yet.

( and now that I've typed all this I realize this is an old thread... ) Ohh well,
Thanks Velocity for the great parts and I wish I would have remembered to have you throw in a Tshirt.

My order for the VelocityAP clutch kit also got delayed. Mine was ordered in early November, and took longer than first anticipated to ship.

Stuart was very, very good about answering my dumb questions about the clutch replacement procedure, and the VAP team did a commendable job of keeping me updated about the status of my order. They did get the kit to me very quickly, just as soon as they were able to get the parts they needed to complete the kit from the UK, but getting the parts from the UK took longer than they initially expected.

Everyone needs to understand that logistics are taking longer everywhere now, and this is not a VAP problem. Things I've ordered before from other companies are taking much longer to arrive than they used to. So, in all honesty, with logistics like they are right now, if you scheduled time at a shop before you had the parts in-hand, then that's a lesson learned, and not something that I'd blame VAP for.

Patience is the name of the game here, and in my very recent experience, Stuart and the people at VAP are extremely trustworthy. Take a deep breath, talk yourself off the ledge, and they'll do right by you.

Oh, and I just got my '09 ASM V8V back with the clutch pack installed today, and the difference is AMAZING. Definitely worth the wait. Kudos to the VAP team! I, for one, am a very satisfied customer.
