Vantage GT versus GTS Confusion
Vantage GT versus GTS Confusion
I'm hoping someone can educate me a bit about the difference between a 2016 Vantage GT and a GTS version of the same year.
It appears there were only 100 GTS models made that year, divided into Sport and Lux trim packages.
Then there are the GT Vantages, that appear to all be in the racing heritage inspired two color liveries. I'm unsure if these were a "limited" run, but they don't seems to have the "X out of 100" door sill plates that the GTS models have.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks in advance.

Interesting!
So the GT is a lesser optioned, non-limited run vehicle, BUT it's decked out in racing livery homage paint schemes.
Horsepower and curb weights are identical then. Putting aside the fact that some high-end options, like heated seats, would weigh more, of course.

There were a handful of 2016 Vantage GT models produced. Most of them were built for the 2015 model year. The GT was only available with 5 exterior colors and 2 interior colors. All 100 GTS on the other hand were produced as a 2016 model.

SPORT:
Additional Carbon Fiber exterior options such as mirrors were only available on the Sport. The Sport was also limited to just Obsidian Black or Argento Grey interior leather trim. There was never a graphics pack available from the order sheet for the GTS.

Norbert,
Thank you so much for the detailed response!
VERY helpful!
Now I'm wondering if there were LESS than 100 2016 GTs built. That would be ironic since the GTS cars sport the "X out of 100" sill plates.....
