ECPS Forged Carbon Parts

Been speaking with Michal at ECPS on making some forged carbon parts for my '11 Vantage S. The quality and build look promising but has anyone bought or had any experience with their forged carbon? Speak to fitment?

Here are some photos he sent over.

Where forged carbon parts are concerned, my level of want and my ability to afford are at opposite ends of the scale. I absolutely love forged carbon.

with that being said, how representative are these photos of production-ready parts? My two critiques would be that the carbon chop looks a little too fine; larger chunks would make it look better, in my opinion (reference the Lamborghini Huracan's gloss forged composite). Also, there seems to be a lot of ripple in the outer epoxy layer, especially on that front splitter.

What does their pricing look like?

You might want to check out a company called Carbontastic for comparison. They did the steering wheel and interior accents in
and it looks very good.

I have quite a few parts from Michel / ECPS and have been very happy with the quality, fitment and price. I do have standard weave versus chopped.

I'm interested if the pattern is large chunks. Like in the DB11. Was thinking of a wrap since no one makes the vantage interior bits.

He quoted me the following in GBP for gloss forged carbon finish which I believe to be quite reasonable and not that much more than standard weave CF:
Front splitter 1100
V12S Front grille 1400
Wing mirror caps 450
Side strakes 350
Rear lights infills 200

I've been looking at Carbontastic as well specifically for their steering wheels.

I have their door bars and door still scuff plates in my car and will be getting a couple other things for it once I get a few other projects knocked out.
Thanks Richard. Always good to hear from trusted source of the community.

He did mention that all interior bits such as dash panel, ski slope, door handles, sills, console trim, etc are all options for forged carbon.

If there's enough interest in general perhaps I can inquire about a group buy?

I'd be in for ski slope with Navigation, door handles, door sill plates plus lower trim from radio to cup holders (Manual)

I'd be interested in interior pieces, depending on the price. Specifically: door handles, lower center console (V8V manual) and maybe ski slope with navigation.

how do you like you're mirror caps? are they full replacements? I have some but don't fit real well... how are they on price? the forged CF is growing on me and may consider starting with mirror caps, especially if for 450BP.

I have forged carbon fiber mirror caps, side strakes and tail light inserts for my 2011 V8S from Michal. As far as I know I was the first person to have forged parts made for the previous generation Vantage, at least from Michal. His work is amazing and I would whole heartedly endorse any product from him. I will be soon adding the front lip, rear bumper insert and inner door rest/handles in forged carbon from him too. Eventually I may have him make me a set of the lightweight seats in forged too!

Its funny you also mention carbontastic, Im friends with the owner, Eric. He made me a forged carbon fiber steering wheel, ski slope, gauge cluster cover and custom extended shifter paddles all in forged carbon fiber. Eric's steering wheels are also very high quality. I have multiple friends that have his steering wheels on their cars. He also did the entire interior of Tavarish's F8 of the Furious Lambo in forged carbon. Turned out great.

I am currently deployed and cant really send any pictures of what mine looks like but if you join the Aston Martin V8/V12 Vantage owners facebook group I have posted several pictures of the pieces there. I may have posted some on here in the past as well. My name on facebook is Scott Sean Frederick Constantine if you join the group. My car is rather easy to spot at the moment. Its highly modified and wrapped in Gulf Racing Livery.

If you have any other questions regarding the work of either ECPS or Carbontastic Id be happy to answer any questions or get you in touch with either of them. I rarely get on here as I mentioned Im on deployment in the Navy but you can reach me at scott.constantine@cvn71.navy.mil if I can help at all.

Here are the pics of the pieces I have done in forged cf already from ECPS and Carbontastic! I have the splitter, rear bumper insert, door arm rests and kick plates on the way! Eventually I’ll probably order a set of the lightweight seats Michal makes in forged carbon as well.
