DB9 3-Pin Coil Packs

Doing a lot of searching, it looks like the equivalent to the 3-pin 8G43-12A366-AA are the BERU tel:0040100388]0040100388 or a ZS388. I have not found anything so far in the US. The Beru ZS388 has 3 pins and looks like it is the best 3 pin fit. A Champion BAE A388 also appears to be a good number - see https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/oenumber/8g4312a366aa.html]here
I looked on this https://partinfo.org/beru-zs388/]link
and https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/beru-ignition-coil-zs388]here

Great info indeed.

I would love to find a way to see what cars use the same 3 pin body but with different boot lengths. As we can take the boots and springs from the coils already in the car, we could then swap them onto the body from a cheaper coil. £75/$90 per coil still seems like too much for a part which I think should be £35/$40 max

I just asked for a shipping quote for 12/24/36 of them. I'll report back when I learn more.

For $50/set it might be work a shot - I recoiled at the $90/each. I was absolutely shocked. I thought it might spark some interest. I think asking for several sets is well grounded. Were you going to wire the money to them?

I will get a price including shipping and take it from there. They are likely the OE producer, as most of this type of stuff is made there...

I did some looking - essentially I looked for a Ford coil with the same model number as the DB9 coil. I found this:
https://www.yoyopart.com/oem/12843794/ford-8l3e12a366aa.html#interchange
I need to verify that the coils are 3-pin

As far as I can tell, these are all 2-pin coils.

Yep - I went through them all and they all are 2 pin. Still looking for elusive 3 Pin, but the 2-pin may be of use to someone

Finally found the "main line" of DB9 coils from China... 2 pin and 3 pin. All clearly marked, and all clearly coming of the same line to a variety of resellers in Alibaba.

Going to order a $17.00 free shipping one just to take a look.

nice find. I also found that OE/M suppliers SERGEY and BAIXINDE have V8 Vantage Coil Packs as well. I just copped a set for $100 off ebay for future use.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-8-ENGINE-COILS-6G33-12A366-CA-9G33-12A366-AA-For-ASTON-MARTIN-VANTAGE-V8/392277910866?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2060353.m2749.l2649

I'd hazard a guess and say these are the same units being offered by US resellers but are charging 800-1000% markup.
