window problem (MY2007 VANTAGE)
Problem: The passenger side window doesn't drop down when I open the door either from inside/outside. Sometimes it moves down less than 1mm but sometimes. The driver side window works fine.
What I tried: window reset and battery hard reset
What happened: I got a battery drained a month ago and had to jump start and window reset and hard reset. The windows have worked fine since then. (Now a charger is connected to the battery)
I can still roll down the passenger side window but it doesn't really move down/up when I open/close the door.
I have tried to find a solution from this forum and I might have to do something on a regulator or door module or strike plate?
Please let me know what I should try first in this situation.
I apologize if exactly same problem/solution had been covered in other threads but I really want to get THE solution before I do any action.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thank you very much in advance.

Have you done it in the right succesion, the window reset after the battery reset?
Window reset:
fully up, hold for ~15 seconds (mine makes 2 noises first a "clack" and a few second later a "click", I need to wait for the click...)
fully down, hold for ~15 seconds ( wait for the click...)

If there is excessive play in the window meaning you can grasp it by hand and move it up/down then it could be slop in the regulator. Which would need replacement. Door module replacement requires both modules and new software.

I held it for about 4~5seconds until I hear clack/click but I might have to try to hold it like 15seconds as you said.
Let me try tonight. Thanks~!!
Thanks for your answer. How much did they charge for 'reflash the door module'?

It was part of an annual service, so no separate price. Should be less than an hour.
Note that the window is held in place ( inside the door) with two screws that actually go through the window glass. If these are not tight the window will exhibit excessive play that has nothing to do with the regulator.
