New these cars had a $100,000 difference in price at least here in Canada, now in a use market the V12 lost a lot more value than any V8 will. 5yrs ago when I bought my 2009 V8 Manual I didn't see too many V12 for sale, now you see a lot and some of them go for $80,000 USD, crazy time. I think the 6sp manual DBS 2+0 in Quantum Silver would be my ultimate choice but those are very rare.

Thanks again.

The search continues here in Canada for now, will be sure to report back when I have one in the garage!

Cheers

Just wanted to chime in on "track" Vantages.
Yes, the V8 needs more power, but Stewart at Velocity can fix that (power pack + dual plate clutch with AMR flywheel).
I also added chromolly racing rods, GT3 bearings and a nitride hardened crank + some suspension and intake alterations.
I cannot possibly keep up with newer Porsche's in the V12's.
It's almost funny how easy it is to keep up in a modified V8.

Congrats, looks like a beauty! If I lived in the US, this would already be in my garage

Were you able to see it in person or did you just make a remote offer to have it shipped? Without getting personal/specific, how flexible was the AM dealer on price?

Feel free to PM me, would be grateful to hear about your buying process/experience in the current environment.

Cheers

Thanks Matt! I wasn't able to see it as I live about 2k miles away. The waiting period for it to be shipped is testing my patience! They came down a bit, but not much. That was probably mostly my fault though as I didn't push them too hard. They got down to where I wanted to be, so I just pulled the trigger!

Have you ever contacted the AM dealer in Waltham, MA? It's not the end of the world to drive there from Montreal if a car is of interest.
