My “new” 2007 almond green V8 Vantage arrived! It’s a beauty:
The almond green is a bit darker than I had thought just from seeing it in pictures, but I think it's fantastic.
I already bought several upgrades which will go on immediately as soon as they arrive:
1. BC Racing Coilovers
2. V12 Vantage carbon fiber grill from ECPS
3. A set of aftermarket wheels with new Micheline Pilot Super Sport tires
I’m really excited to see how the new wheels will look and how it comes together (or not! but I think it will). I won’t say what brand or color right now except that I went with 18 inch wheels. I can’t wait!
I would love the v12 hood but that’s a lot of money, and I probably want to get into some performance mods before I do that (if at all). Also, I promised myself I wouldn’t spend any more money on mods until I paid off the mods I just bought lol. I will probably just paint the hood vents black to match the grill.
I will update with more pics as soon as the mods are on.

Congrats !! Color looks great.
Btw, I'm in Miami too. Not sure if you ever make it out to Super Car Saturdays or any other meets, but look forward to seeing it in person once we're done with this pandemic !!
welcome to the family! these are fun to mod... tastefully of course... I like the Vantage because you can mod it to be tame or a beast...
I guess you all will be the judge on whether it is tasteful lol, but I hope so. If I do make modifications to a car, I prefer to stay within the mods that the manufacturer themselves have done on their own variants of the car, and keeping it looking mostly OEM. My general bias is that the original design is best, unless I can't talk myself out of it, so v12 grill it is!

Sweet! Never been because I've never had a car like this, but that sounds great
Nice. And extra bonus points for a working driver's door strut I too just picked up a 2007, and my mod budget has been redirected to 'what if the clutch goes' bucket - no sign of issues so far though.
Congrats man, I love that color! I'm in FL and just picked up my first Aston recently as well. Unfortunately mine has been in the shop since the day I took delivery but am excited to rebuild her and make a few upgrades as well. I started light with a crystal key as mine only came with the plastic Volvo one and just received an auto memory exhaust remote control unit from cccharger... opening up that exhaust throughout the rev range seems to be one of the first reccomended mods around here.
lovely color.
is that interior black or some kind of dark gray?
Unfortunately no, it's "parliament green." Not my favorite, but it goes with the exterior and at night it basically looks grey. I thought it was going to be an eyesore but it's not.

Yes I'm glad the door struts are working! I had it pre-inspected by an Aston Martin specialist and the car was mint in every way, not a single paint chip. It was a little annoying to be honest -- I thought the inspection was going to reveal some problems to help me bargain, turns out it's in such good condition that now I'm afraid to drive it lol.

Congrats to you too! Yeah the exhaust is definitely on my list, as soon as I recover from my recent mod binge

While I'm a big fan of mine in midnight navy, absolutely love almond green on these and am jealous you were able to snag one. I'd keep the factory hood personally but ultimately your car.
Fantastic color - beautiful. A few cheap mods: The seat switch covers can be finished by adding these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Land-ro...4AAOSwDYZeIWZ- - There used to be more suppliers for about $15 but this is what I could quickly find. The LR2 switch covers fit perfectly. Also, depending upon the new wheels and offsets, I added wheel spacers to my V12S - as far as the V12 Hood, I'll trade you for my V12S hood as I prefer the V8 hood - just kidding.

Don’t apologize for your interior not being run of the mill ‘suicide’ black. You’ll find that your green interior will grow on you and others will love it. Black hides all the little details of that great AM interior design while lighter colors reveal it.
My interior is Olive Green and I wouldn’t trade it for any other color. The interior is the one thing that everybody comments on (positively) at car shows. One black interior looks like any other black interior after awhile. AM offered many tens of leather colors for a truly bespoke build, yet it seems 90% of cars have a black interior.
