I need experts or a aston martin sales person help me with a question. so i bought a vantage, i was promised that the car has the upgraded sports exhaust system, but i dont see it on my spec! my car only have the dual exhaust tip(one on each side) , not the quad but the sales man said that didnt matter. i read it somewhere online that quad = sports exhaust, dual is standard exhaust.

 

For 2019, the Quad-tip sports exhaust was a stand-alone option.
For 2020, the Quad-tip sports exhaust became a part of the Exterior Black Collection and was no longer offered as a stand-alone option.
To my ears, the sound difference is barely noticeable.

 

thanks for the reply, so im still a bit confused, so what i really wanna know is if my car only have the dual tip, does that mean i dont have the sports exhaust? because the sales guy from aston said the car is equipped with a upgraded exhaust system but i dont see it anywhere on the spec sheet, i have a 2019 vantage.

 

If you have dual pipes then you have the standard exhaust. Since you have the Exterior Black Collection, they are painted Black. Maybe that's what he meant by upgraded exhaust.
