Exhaust Recommendations on Vantage v8?

i'm about ready to pull the trigger on a vantage v8 this week. and wanted to start eyeing an exhaust for it. seems like Quicksilver and Tubi are the most commonly used ones.

i'd be interested to see if anyone has used the Gruppe M version? any recommendations on specific exhaust, type, and why?

thanks in advance!

Check out HZ@RSC - Hershel is a site sponsor too. He has used his Vantage as a rolling test bed w/ some great results. There are several links in this AM section that include a video (w/ Quicksilver exhaust). Quicksilver seems to be the most popular from what I have seen posted. You can also have your stock exhaust mechanicaly "tied open" (it is suggested you not pull fuse 22 as it might mess w/ fuel mixture also). This produces a loud sound below 4500 RPM - I personally have found it reduces torque just a bit too - so it is a poor mans new exhaust or a temporary solution until you decide.

Thumbs up

TUBI exhaust (made in Italy)

It's lighter and more compact than stock exhaust.

But it delivers a wondrous Italian crescendo roar!

Gruppe M makes a fantastic exhaust, but because its titanium its expensive($5400). My next choice would be Quicksilver or Tubi, both are damn good.

the tubi does seem like a more compact and light compared to the quicksilver. but it seems like quicksilver is the more 'popular' of the two models...

anyone have pictures of the GRUPPE M?
