iPod AutoPlay Behavior Question
iPod AutoPlay Behavior Question
I was playing around with the iPod connectivity and connected it to my relatively new iPhone via a 30pin to lightning adapter. By all accounts it works fine with my iPhone SE and iOS 14.1, shows the track names and all that on the radio as expected.
When I plug the Phone in, it will automatically start playing whatever was the last audio, pod cast, music, whatever it was. That is a moderately annoying feature but not so bad.
What is surprising (and infuriating) is that if pause the sound, it will automatically start playing again after a few seconds. It does this without fail and I couldn't find any setting in the radio or obvious way on the phone to turn this off.
Anyone else have a similar experience using the old iPod interface with a recent iPhone? Maybe someone knows how to fix this behavior? I read through a number of threads describing various issues but did not find mention of this one exactly.
