Any advice on raising the car up

I recently installed some VAP springs and the rear drop was perfect but it seems like the front is a bit lower than the rear. (for reference I have a 2011 Vantage S and the VAP springs were specifically for the "sport" suspension). I've seen a few comments here and there where members were able to raise the front up by 10-15mm by installing a custom strut spacer. I know that doesn't sound like much but I think it would make the car a lot more drivable on these miami roads / speed bumps / parking garages. Does anyone have more information or ideas ? Or do i need to switch up a coilover set up ?

Tire Size Can Help

My 06 is Stock & I Noticed the Gap Difference Right Away, I Ran 19's 295's (27'') & 255's (26'') & It Looks Perfect & Rides Great.

I Researched Many Threads Here & saw That the 20'' Guys had same Diameters & Ordered Em', Worked Out....

Thanks .. i thought of going up a tire size but there's not much room in the front to go taller.

Hi, not answering your question but more curious with my own (sorry). I have the Pilot Sport 4S tires on a V8VS and was considering the VAP Springs to get a less stiff ride.

Curious at your experience so far? Is it more forgiving over uneven roads or about the same? Is it noticeable? If you could do it again would you go with springs or spend extra for the coil overs?

255/35 will Make 8mm More gap in Front....(half of .7'')

Or Go taller in Back (295) In Make up Gap that Way.

I'm a P Car Guy, But a Very Low Aston didn't suit Me.

The ride quality on the VAP springs is noticeably better than my stock Vantage S suspension. I can also vouch that there is no "pogo effect" (which is a common complaint for people who use H&R).
When it comes to the actual drop, It seems like different people have had different experiences. For me the front drop was a little more than i expected. Not unmanageable though (see pics above).

I have some new wheels with a pretty aggressive front offset (35) coming soon. Ideally I would like to run a 255/35/20 but i dont think i will have enough room. I searched and most people running a 35mm offset have used 255/30/20 (which further brings the front clearance down a bit).

Good point on going taller in the back though. Something I hadn't considered

So, to rephrase the OP’s original question - any way to improve the ride comfort/quality on a V8VS in addition to adding Michelin P4S without lowering the car?

That's what I Did...

Little taller in Back, Wider All Around,

And The Super Sports I Ran are Actually Lighter Than the thinner 5 year old Stock Size RE50's.

The 35mm offset in the front will bring the wheel and tire out more towards the fender lip? For that flush look correct? won't that make less fender gap? Was thinking of new rims with the 35 mm offset , standard 42, 7 x.039 =.273 " out more. the rears would be 50mm , standard 54 4x.039= .156 "out more. was concerned out clearance on the front. Need some input?

ok, so i installed the following set up and i think it looks perfect (no rubbing, and perfectly flush)
20x9 ET35 - 245 35 20
20x11 ET47 - 295 30 20

car is a v8vs lowered with velocity AP springs.

This was right after the install. Better (cleaner) pics to follow once i get it cleaned up and get my center caps. Hope it helps.
