I'm sure the average person with some basic skills could handle it. The only thing that I see is the amount of other plastic under the hood is distracting (wheel arch panels into the headlamp area) but a carbon kit may make one focus on the prize in the center?
My local dealer has/had an Vantage with all the carbon dress parts installed. It was a customer ordered car who vanished and they were stuck with the car. Not sure if it sold or not, but was over 200K with all the add-on's.
Thanks much. I just want to say how helpful everyone has been on the forum. Please forgive my many postings
as I am still learning about my new car. Hope everyone is safe and well.
So I bought the complete kit. There are no pictures on Google or the Aston site that show the 5 pieces installed.
The dealers say they never got any photos. I emailed Aston Customer service . They investigated the issue, emailed me back the next day and said there were none available. Kinda hard to sell upgrade kits without
seeing what the final product looks like. But,maybe not since I bought one.
Well it’s in. Not an easy job so after I tried I took it to my independent mechanic. Everything fit well except the
bottom panel which had to be trimmed along the horizontal base edge. There strut brace had to be removed to fit
the side panels. I’m very happy with the look and in my opinion really dresses up the engine compartment
