Dbx

I get that the DBX is controversial, but I finally saw one in person today. Went to my local dealer and he had a stunning DBX for us to check out. I’d brought my wife because she’s....not fully onboard with the idea of spending that kind of money in a car. Took her all of 60 seconds of sitting in the car and checking it out before turning to me and mouthing, “we’re so getting this!”

I loved it. I have. ‘21 BMW X5, which is an amazing car and I was blown away by how much the DBX is just in a different league. Yeah - I get it - totally different price point, so it should be in a different league, but that is my point: our X5 is our second X5, and we upgraded our last one just a couple of months ago. We love this SUV. Look forward to driving it every chance we get. It’s a wonderful car by any standard and the DBX had to blow it away for us to even think of moving forward with it....and it totally did.

I’m keeping my DB9 forever. It’s not going anywhere, but as soon as the world returns to normal, and we can jaunt off to the UK to sit down with the Q team and custom spec out exactly what we’re looking for, we’ll be adding the DBX to the stable.

My DB9 is a forever car also. The jury is still out with me on the DBX. Of course, I have not sat in one.....

I viewed a few DBX’s at Aston Martin Orlando and really liked the styling and think it is a very good looking SUV. Also saw three in Florida (Palm Beach & Naples) that were privately owned and they looked stunning. I would much rather have the DBX than a Cullinan, Bentayga or Urus.

All four really get their styling DNA right; it's just which marque's styling and ethos one likes the best.

agreed... drove a prototype DBX late last yeat at AM Orlando.I had a few items that I didn't like... but overall way better than anything from LR, Audi, BMW, MB (wife currently drives MB GLE 43 AMG.

Bro in law has the Bentley... its nice but I'm not a huge Bentley fan... almost too over the top...

I'll be patient and wait a few years until lightly used ones make it to market...

I wish wagons would sell in this country. They are so much more fun to drive than SUVs and have equivalent utility for 95% of the people who drive the SUV.

We were hot for a V60 Volvo, but the dealer says they're all customer ordered cars and they did not even have one on the lot. Crazy considering my locale is biggest Volvo market in North America.

I'm one of the few who actually loves the new DBX. If I had the money for one I'd be buying a JWW edition (search for it on YouTube if you're not familiar). The dark green and bronze are sublime.

Seconded. The V60 Polestar is just about the perfect daily driver. If you can find one.

They hold their value fairly well, too.

had an older R design V60 Few years ago as my company car... it's a comfortable well built car...have had c, e class Mercedes wagons and BMW 5 series... love the long roofs... unfortunately my wife likes being up a bit higher, otherwise I'd be in an AMG wagon instead of a GLE.

I went to AM Orlando with my spec to order if the car met expectations. It actually exceeded them. Proportions were right on, handling was precise, AMG drivetrain suited the car well except for some sloppy shifts in auto, and the adjustable suspension had a good range of settings. It should be built in mid-March.

excellent! And congrats! Sounds like it resonated with you the same as it did me. It’s a phenomenal vehicle.

I'm about a year out from placing an order. Want to time it around my ability to get to the factory and sit down with the Q team for just a couple of things I’ll want them to do. And then we’d go back a second time during the build to see our car in production, maybe sign some of the frame, etc.

If money were no object to me I'd totally get a DBX, best looking SUV inside and out IMO

Went and looked at one expecting to hate it. Ended up test driving it and loving it. Seriously considering picking one up when my Range Rover lease is over
