Well, after some extended discussions and an interesting series of events transporting it, my new to me 2007 Vantage is on the road in Florida finally!

It is the car I found on CarGurus that had been listed for almost 2 years in Ohio...price was on the higher end, but it is very clean with just shy of 28K miles.
I have put about 150 miles on it in a weekend of actual driving and I have zero complaints. It's obviously a little behind on current trends for 'infotainment' but the power is fine, the brakes are very good, the driving experience is world class and I can honestly say its the nicest car I have ever owned. Driving it is not like driving a Porsche or BMW in any way, its a special event and feels more like a huge privilege than just a car. It is truly gorgeous to look at and appreciate as a design piece that actually made it into production. The past week has been collecting the stuff that was missing between three owners -- first aid kit, umbrella, tire kit etc. but on the whole it has been a treat to put time and attention toward. I don't believe it has had the updated twin clutch put in it, but at the same time it does not feel as heavy as cars I have driven that definitely have the single plate still. In either case, it runs well and has no warning lights on..fingers crossed!
lots you can do to upgrade infotainment... if you have navigation you can add apple CarPlay or android auto to display on nav screen. also add cameras if you want...
I personally have video rear view mirror with front and rear cameras bluetooth streaming for audio. voice control with Alexa and smart phone to control
