Vantage V8 Engine Noise, knocking - ticking

Sorry for the very late reply,
unfortunately, since then, the car sits in the garage and we did not even remove the oil pan to check it.
I was looking for a used engine as Aston Martin are not selling any engine parts... only full engine in an exchange basis....
So for me, no luck unfortunately! i wanted to enjoy that car but then, impossible to do anything!
if someone knows a place where we can find engine parts for the 4.7, i'll be very interested
