Angry One Call Only...

I've noticed that when I make a call through the car ('12 Rapide) that I lose Bluetooth after the call and need to restart the car to pair my iPhone 12. Doesn't matter if I end the call from the phone itself or the steering wheel. The call time indicator keeps going and when I press and hold phone button to clear it, Bluetooth disappears. Phone says I am still connected, but am not actually connected. Won't find the car unless I shut the car off.

Anyone else have this issue?

Forgive my non-Aston specific guess, but I'd point the finger at Apple. As they keep doing iOS revisions and updates, they're focused on supporting the most recent protocols and hardware. My Bluetooth pairing and functions in the wagon were fine until certain iOS updates. It eventually started playing nice again.

txtonyo is infamous around these parts
I'd agree might be update related on iOS. Happened on other cars with bluetooth/Iphone.

Do you have access to another phone you can pair and test for consistent issue to at least narrow down the source?

I too think it's iOS related, but now it's getting even worse. Yesterday, the steering wheel button wouldn't answer the call, the phone said it was via the car, I see the timer going on the on radio and in phone mode, but it never came through the speakers. It was audio through the phone. When I hung up on the phone itself, the timer kept going on the phone and then I lost connectivity to the car.

Wife has an Android phone and will give that one a test soon.

Some of my connectivity woes have been fixed by restarting/power cycling my iPhone from time to time.
