DB9 AC air vent direction
DB9 AC air vent direction
I notice the center AC vents are able to direct air to the passenger quiet easily, however, I'm not having much success directing the bulk of the air flow to me as the driver. I have the vents pointed all the way to the left, however, I must lean to the right to feel this wonderful cold air on a hot summer day. Anyone else struggling with this?
Im surprised it makes much of a difference, the cabins on these cars are so small...i generally direct air up to the roof so it sinks down. i use a vent phone holder so blocks direct air flow but my car cools off rapidly anyway.
Does the flow volume feel the same for vents on each side? Could be another issue involved.
Also, does the temperature from the vents feel the same from each respective side? The open/close rollers operating correctly and not sticking ?
Had issues in other cars when freon levels were low causing inconsistent temps across the front vents.

Have the filters checked, replace them. Have an A/C shop remove the charge to weigh it. Recharge with the proper amount. Pre 2010 cars can be updated with a cam wheel for the flap which may help. It adds more cool air to the floor.
