Thank you for the incredible pictures. And what a beautiful car! I think the color scheme is fantastic....reminds me of the bold choices seen in the bespoke coach-builders of days past, or modern Bugattis.
On Monday 02.08 I saw it (here the pics).
On Wednesday 03.08 I bought it and drove it for 500km.
On Thursday 04.08 I took it to the dealer for service and for a random error on the gearbox. They are investigating.
Looking forward to be back on the driver seat.
I had a 2009 Vantage with the ASM and Boxster with a manual...
I found myself driving the Vantage all the time. I honestly did not mind at all the ASM transmission, as long as you keep it in sport mode and shift with paddles...
I ended up selling my Boxster, but after 4 years, I miss a convertible soo I'm on the hunt for another one...
If you're a DIYer, the vantage is rather easy to maintain. Clutch is the weak point and I ended up replacing my l mine a couple of years ago at about 27,000 miles. Cross referenced parts from Ford, Volvo and some others are a good source of parts
My boxster in the garage.
Do not tempt me... Last WE I was on another pass and I have a lot of them.
Just one for the sake of it...

I still need to improve the lift (pedal) and shift (paddle) approach for the I-II gear. In all the others I found the right sensitivity to make them effective (somehow) and fun (for sure).
And well... I made a mistake one with a SUPERB 997 to go for a coupe. Then I realised that all my cars need to allow me to look at the sky.
Beautiful car!!! Honestly once you try an Aston you just cannot not buy it! My first one was a 2011 V8 Sportshift then I found a 20212 V12 MT and now I even have a second V12 S Sportshift because of the license plate. I live in Shanghai and out of town plates are a pain in the butt to drive here. Lots of restrictions.
