The Case for the V8 Vantage
The Case for the V8 Vantage
It's been a while since I visited this site. Recently, I was asked to write an article about these great cars. If anyone is interested, the link is:

Just noticed that someone posted the link already...

Great writeup. My wife had me get her both a 2007 DB9 Volante and a 2014 Vanquish, both of which are still in our garage, but I have driven and thoroughly enjoyed the V8V on several occasions including the track and think it is the only true "sports car" in the AM fleet. I am a Porsche guy myself, but have often considered getting a V8V to daily drive. Thanks again for the article.
I throughly enjoyed your article. I've owned two V8 Vantages the last one I picked up in 2013. A 2013 Vantage S in BRG and it's been very reliable. You and I met at Lime Rock a few years back. I'm looking forward to going back there next May with the AMOC.
Nice article @Speedraser . I've owned my '07 V8VR manual since March and have loved every moment driving it (5k miles in 6 months, twice it's annual average). It is more of a GT car than the 911's I've owned in the past; not better or worse, but it's not quite as track ready as my previous 997. The Aston is beautiful and unique, and does receive the occasional positive comments and waves from strangers. Also recommended is joining your local AMOC.
Yes, we had a good conversation at LRP. Thanks for the kind words. Glad you're still enjoying yours.
