Thought I'd share some pics of progress on the DB9 I bought about a year ago, it had a blown engine so was cheap enough to be a project car. Its a pretty rare colour as I understand, California Sage. I found damaged 2007 car with less than 9k miles and bought the engine, I fitted that and running fine now. Whilst I was at it I set about fixing all the jobs I found along the way.. Broken front coil springs, cracked alloy on the front, brakes that were worn out etc. I found a used set of 20" HRE 9" front and 10.5" rear wheels and have stripped them to get the centres redone in grey. I bought H&R springs and fitted our 380mm front disc kit and 330mm rears with new pads. Just need to bleed the brakes and then its off to the paintshop to get the corrosion on the doors fixed.
As purchased
Std OE 355mm one piece disc
380mm two piece floating replacement that weighs 1.55kg less per side
Std OE 330mm one piece disc
Floating replacement that weighs 1.65kg per side less
New wheels

Bit more progress, decided to go grey on the wheel centres and tyres are now on so I can get it outside tomorrow and give it a good clean. Happy with the ride height that the H&R springs give. Getting there slowly
