DBS V12 Tyre Size Increase
Same tire increase question here.
Im looking at using the progressive springs for better ride/handling but would like to recover some ground clearance with more sidewall, does it fit?
considering either
245/40-20 & 295/35-20 (more side wall) or
255/40-20 & 305/35-20 (more side and width).
anyone tried this on DBS or DB9 or Virage?

I plan to do the same to my Vanquish, as well. The original tires look too stretched on the rims and the speedometer consistently reads 3mph low at 40mph. Increasing the width, and thus the height ratio, will fix both problems.

I did that on my Vantage and it was fine. Never rubbed while turning or scrubbed the inner fender on compression. Going up 10mm on the width won't cause any problems, and the tire will look like it fits better. Only go up on width, not sidewall. Changing from a 295 to a 305 width will give you more sidewall by default because the height number is a ratio of the width, not an absolute measurement. If you increase the width AND the height numbers your outer circumference will be too much and your speedometer will be very inaccurate.

I don't see why not.
Typo, sorry. I meant to say it reads too high. At 40 mph it says 43.
