So my air intake ducting keeps slipping loose on the manifold inlet and lets in air, confirmed with a shot of ether at idle. Im thinking that a normal hose clamp that tightens with a screw vs the factory plastic one might remedy this situation but I have not found one with a skinny band width like the factory one. Also the weight of the rubber ducting seems to contribute to this, wanting to work the hose loose at a downward angle. A support bracket would probably remedy this situation but seems extreme.

Any ideas or other ways to solve this from others?

Norma brand 105mm clamp, not the heavy duty one. Width is less than 8mm works a treat. The OEM plastic is designed for a 1 use only for the most part.
