How does one remove the cant rail?

How does one remove the cant rai (AKA A pillar trim that extends all the way back along the roof)l on the V8 Vantage? Aston1936 has a DIY for the DB9 MY 05 but I want to be sure or fairly sure it's the same procedure before doing this. I need to remove the rear headliner panel to access the underside of the antenna, but the workshop manual simply states "remove cant rail trim panel and remove rear headliner panel" which is less than informative. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. I will put a DIY up for the antenna base replacement if so. The gasket on mine is cracked and split. Florida sun I suppose.

Years may differ, however removed mine by removing the plugs ( covered in same material as headliner) This give you access to screws holding the rail. Hope this helps.

My concern is damaging the covered plugs, are they simple pop outs or do they require some level of effort to remove them?

I used a small metal pick to lift them from the side . This way any damage would be covered when you reinstall them.
