Interesting. I was under the impression this couldn't be done without removing the engine. Very cool upgrades. Need to hear that exhaust though! I want to do this to my DB9.

I did exactly the same on my DB9 but used ThermoTec exhaust wrap instead of the manifold jackets.

Been driving it over the summer. It’s loud, so loud that at startup it saturates the iPhone microphone and it’s not giving it the right audio feel on a recording. Cold start in my 1 car garage is completely terrifying.

I got VAP to change the tune so the valve is kept closed up to 5000rpm and opens at higher load. That makes it acceptable to drive around the neighbourhood. But the valve is always open at cold start.

I’ll try to do a under load drive by when I have a chance, I’ve been tied up with a construction project that’s been taking all my spare time.

More than understandable.

as we discussed in the other thread you should remove the vap muffler, put factory one back on with cc charger remote, and then add the vap center section x pipe. That muffler you have on there is too free flowing with the rest of the changes and I’m sure makes it too loud like the same issue I had with my quicksilver supersport muffler.
Now the car is perfect and isn’t any louder than stock for the most part unless you get on it (then it sounds incredible but not too loud either and no drone).

I agree with the above, my system with the 12 branch manifolds, 200 cell cats and the stock rear silencer is uncomfortably loud on start up so yours with a sports rear box must be silly loud. Refit the rear box and try it, if its still too much, then try the cross pipe.
