Just had a PPI, question...
Good evening gents -- I'm in the market for a V8 Vantage and I've looked at a few cars. I'm narrowing in on a 2008 example with moderately high miles for one of these, but seemingly in good shape overall with a fairly solid service history. The car is across the country from me, so I had a PPI performed by a reputable specialist (the local Aston shop surprisingly informed me they do not do PPIs).
Got the results back today and the car has a clean bill of health. One thing that was flagged by the inspection was that the rear package tray was "damaged & cables stretched".
The specialist said it wasn't a big deal, but he hadn't really seen that before and didn't know exactly what a repair would cost. Since it wasn't critical I didn't have him do the legwork on calculating it, but I was wondering if anyone here had experience with the issue and could possibly help with an approximate dollar figure for my purchase negotiations.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

This is a total non-issue if it were me. This would be like a Home Inspector telling you that the house was perfect except the door knocker was a little loose. I would buy without a care and see if you ever actually want to fix the cover.
