Winter Storage Question
The puddles of dirt and debris left on the floor are for nothing then?
No...You are certainly going to knock the chunks off with that and that is helpful but no amount of rinsing is going to remove the salt brine from all the crevices underneath. Like I said before....If you're not going to keep your cars beyond a few years it may not be of consequence to you.
He has an axe to grind on this for whatever the reason.
????? Uh no...Just trying to enlighten people that there is no safe way to drive these cars in salt without damage. Maybe you guys have all the money in the world to just get a new one every so often but I certainly don't. Why do you think the Navy employs an active corrosion control program?

I'm placing a few Bounce fabric softener sheets in key locations in the cabin, the boot, the convertible top hatch, and under the bonnet. A lot of people on Haggerty recommend it for rodent challenges, and we've had problems with them in the past. And I'll leave a note on my seat where I placed them in case I forget!
Never had a scuff in almost two decades of owning dogs and their riding in my cars. Plenty of fur, nose prints, and change of AC settings.
