Catch Can Replacements

On October 30, 2022 Richard sent out a note about the catch cans that had been delivered needing replacement prior to install. I haven't seen a message since then and my car is scheduled to go into it's annual service which is when the catch can was to be installed.

Nothing in the blog...

Anyone know anything??

I believe he has a Facebook account that he is active on. You might want to contact him there.

I have one too. I saw Richard comment on Facebook recently that the new ones are incoming and will be sent out as soon as he gets them. But no real timeline on what that means. Hopefully progress. Seems like he was out of the country for a while and the business got backed up...

I had heard from a source that the "fix" is basically a revised clamp. They said the info was provided to Richard quite a while ago with zero communication or follow up.
These were bought and paid for .... Look at todays blog .... It even states no email or social media will be dealt with...... I guess that means customers also .....

Unfortunately, this is becoming a common occurrence with Richard. I've paid for overnight shipping only to have an order arrive a week and a half later. I've ordered from him and had an order show up several weeks later. Redpants is a great resource for both parts and for information, assuming you're patient.

I have met Richard and he is a nice person that's an asset to the Aston Martin community. Unfortunalty, Rich is between a rock and a hard place. Too small to be anything other than a one-person operation. But not big enough to hire additional personnel.

Perhaps someone that is able to connect with him can share our frustration.

I know for a fact there is a modified clamp waitin for him to approve. In my case I have paid and received something that's not useable.

He certainly is making some interesting and positive changes to his future but it's unfortunate it's on us to carry .....
