Insurance - Any suggestions?
Right now my 2007 DB9 and wife's 2002 Ford T-bird are insured (plus our other 2 cars) with Travelers. Right now it is really expensive at $4k/year. No tickets, and good credit. I think we can beat that. I am looking for a place that would insure my wife's car and mine and get away from Travelers. Any suggestions for a good collector or specialty type insurance? What sort of typical limitations. We may drive the cars 2500-3000 miles each annually.
Thanks

State Farm. They bonded the car the day I called. I had a $5k claim within 6 months (windshield) and my rates did not go up. Also you can insure the car for a set amount. I couldn’t be happier. And the rate was good also.

Have you compared Chubb to others? I have an inclusive policy with Chubb that covers most of my insurances for homes, other cars umbrella, etc. but the coverage for collector car policies was high.

I looked at Hagerty for my Vantage and it was very reasonable at $60/month. If you hold an umbrella policy with your current insurer, be sure to understand the implications of moving some of your vehicles to another insurer. Total cost of complete insurance may be different then you're expecting based on a lower auto rate.
For breakdowns? I'd seriously doubt they'd even cover an Aston, and if they did I'm not sure I'd trust them to pay the bill, or they'd make you go to one of their "authorized repair" shops and use used parts to patch you together if they did.
