The process is as easy as any other vehicle you have ever done - note my post above, grab a 24mm socket to get off the filter housing-- Cheers, KH
ya, looks super easy. I have the big socket kit from harbor freight for the filter housing tops. Looks like only issue people have is stripping the hex drain plug, so will be careful with that and make sure it’s the right hex size.
im adding an addition for a workshop with a 2 post lift and was hoping to do it on that, but looks that fall on the hoist and it needs done in the spring so floor jacks it is
7 liters isnt bad for a pump extraction. 7.5 is the wet fill.. . I only have 11K miles...
There is a trick I used to extract as most oil as possible... I put a rubber grommet on the hose that goes into the dipstick pushing it over the dipstick hole once the tube hit bottom and created a vacuum inside the oil pan pulling all the oil out. You run the pump longer, but you will continue to extract oil...
the actual oil capacity of a 2020+ vantage is 8.9 quarts, which is exactly what I got out removing the drain plug. The above post about suction the oil out is leaving a substantial amount of dirty oil in the car. It’s super easy to do it the traditional way, and very nice to have a dipstick (back left of motor).
