This is great data. Since I'm looking for a 4.7 V8V manual coupe, I've been looking for these numbers to figure out roughly how many should be on the market in North America in any given year.
V8 coupe 4.7: 1794 manuals
V8S coupe: 243 manuals
Total global production of 2,037
I believe that about 25% of production ends up in North America, so that's about 500 "candidates" in the US and Canada.
The variable that I don't know is how long the average owner keeps one of these (it seems really long based on current availability!). If it's 3 years, then there should be about 170 sales each year. If the average owner keeps their car 10 years (like I do), it's 50 per year.
Some of these will have "non-starter" color or options combinations and some will have been damaged/totaled, which could leave the pool at about 30/year. And then some (maybe a lot) of these sales are likely private, non-advertised transactions, which means I should see 1-2 prospects per month. I prefer the newer end of the production run, so cut that number in half.
The bottom line is that you have to be patient if you're looking for something specific, but that it should appear at some point. It's part of what makes them special.
If you have a 4.7 V8V manual coupe you're thinking of selling, please see my WTB post in the Marketplace about a month ago...

According to Aston Martin Factory, here was the response they give me:"There were circa 400, 2009 model year V8 vantage coupe manuals built, of these circa 70 were left hand drive and shipped to North America."
So only 70 into NA in 2009, wow very low and much less than 25%

From what I've seen on the market in the last 10 years, the earlier the year the more manuals there are as dealers leaned more and more toward ordering SS's for inventory.
Thank you for posting these! Very interesting information.
I'm continually shocked how under-valued many Aston Martin models are and the scarcity of them confuses me even more.
Beautiful color! That shade of red suits the V8V very well.
