Windshield Wiper Alignment Problem

The car is an 07 V8 Vantage, and I’m pretty sure that the wipers aren’t supposed to look like this…. I was caught in a rainstorm and turned the wipers on. They worked great, until I turned them on high. The passenger arm started banging into the driver’s side and I had to turn the wipers off and wait for things to lighten up so I could drive the rest of the way home. Has anyone encountered this issue, and how did you fix it?

I think the spline-bolt holding the passengers-arm wiper has come loose: the passenger arm is secured with two (2) bolts (14mm head from memory). One has a spline taper to drive the arm, the other is a guide-arm. loose both bolts up and re-align the arm. Just hope that the female spline on your arm itselft isnt damaged. You will find out however taking the bolts off..

(below picture shows the 2 bolts in the red circles though this being a RHD arm)
