I installed BC coil overs recently on V8 Vantage, it made big difference in ride quality compared to sports suspension with VAP springs. I did adjust damper settings & adjusted ride height few times already, didn't take out wheels, front ones much easier than rears, but it's doable when car is on the hoist.
