Correcting front bumper deformation on V8V

Hi all, apologies if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find anything specific to this topic when I searched. The front bumper on my V8V has a small deformation where the lower lip of the bumper below the lower grille has been pushed up a bit, I'd assume from the prior owner making contact with a curb. I've noticed this in pictures of other V8Vs here so thinking this may be a more common issue. Has anyone had any luck correcting this without replacing the bumper? If so, how was it done?

Thanks in advance.

Picture below shows what I'm talking about -

FWIW I have never heard of this being a common issue, unlike the rear bumper dimple/indent that many VH Astons "feature".

Many times it is due to the bottom plate being deformed from hitting curbs. I removed mine and flattened it with a mallet and it fixed the bumper.

Sorry know that isn't the best picture, the deformation is very slight in the one I posed. Hopefully this can at least give you an idea of what part of the bumper I am talking about. Talking about the lower lip of the bumper below the lower grille. Not the black plastic lip that is the separate piece but the actual lower part of the bumper itself. Can get a better picture once it's not raining and I can back out of the garage far enough to get the picture.

Common may not have been the right word but I have seen multiple pictures here of other Vantages with this deformation so meant that this may not be unique to me and therefore someone else may have had luck fixing it.

Ah that is great to hear! Thank you! Sounds like this could potentially be an easier fix than I was expecting. Will give this a try.

Interested if this worked out for you? I recently picked up an N420 that has this bumper wave and I am trying to determine how it would be rectified.

Unfortunately I never got to it with that car. Over the course of the year I owned it I found more and more issues with the car so I decided to sell it and buy a different V8 Vantage instead. Sorry I can't be of more help on this and best of luck!
